Support the Exhibition of Avital's Works

Commemorating Avital Sagalyn’s 101st Year in 2026

We’re thrilled that in 2026, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) will present an exhibition of mid-century Cape Cod works by Avital Sagalyn (1925-2020), with almost all of the independently curated pieces making their public debut.

Avital left an astounding art portfolio worth celebrating with this major event just after her centennial year. To prepare for the exhibition — open June 5 to August 2, 2026 — we’re working to raise $30,000 to cover essential costs, such as conservation, framing, and transportation of the artworks. Thanks to the generosity of family and friends, our project has raised more than $8,000 toward this goal, for which we are beyond grateful. We still have thousands more to raise before the selected artworks will be ready for the museum’s walls.

A gift of any amount will make a meaningful difference and be warmly acknowledged. Contributions can be made via our project’s nonprofit fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas (https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/avital-sagalyn-exhibition-campaign/general_support). These contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. To learn more, click on our project link or the Fractured Atlas icon below. Either will redirect you to the Avital Sagalyn Exhibition Campaign page at Fractured Atlas:

GoFundMe is another way to contribute to our same exhibition-preparation project (https://www.gofundme.com/f/fkfbue-avital-exhibition-campaign). This giving method is not tax-deductible. But GoFundMe takes a much smaller processing fee from our project, meaning that more of your contribution dollars go directly to the Provincetown exhibition initiative. With your help, we can bring Avital’s creative vision to new audiences and grow her extraordinary legacy — ensuring her work receives the visibility and recognition it so richly deserves. Thank you so much for your generosity.
